Jelske Dekkers Sporthorses attaches great importance to processing your personal data carefully, safely and securely, and we are committed to doing everything to protect your privacy. We do not disclose information to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law. The rules on protecting your privacy are laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with the Dutch Data Protection Authority tasked with monitoring compliance with the law. Applications
Jelske Dekkers Sporthorses processes the personal data of applicants solely for the purpose of the application procedure. By applying to Jelske Dekkers Sporthorses, you consent to the processing of your data.
Storage period
In accordance with the NVP Sollicitatiecode (NVP Application Code), all application data (letter, CV, and other notes) will be destroyed four weeks after an application is rejected. If Jelske Dekkers Sporthorses wishes to retain the application data, consent will be requested from the applicant to retain their data for a maximum of one year. After one year, the application data will be destroyed.
Right to rectification
An applicant has the right to the rectification or erasure of application data if he or she so requests.
Social media
In certain cases, Jelske Dekkers Sporthorses may check applicants’ social media behaviour if this information is considered important for the position applied for.
We treat data for the application procedure confidentially and use the data exclusively for this procedure.
